Standard Guidelines for Security 

The IT Security policy identifies the rules and procedures for all individuals security. The Every organization are own IT Security policy .

There are some steps:

- USB Ports are restricted so that no data transfer happens 
- CD/DVD drives are disabled. 
- Personal mail and massage services are blocked. 
- File upload sites are blocked. 
- Users with admi access only can install a thirty party software. 
Check your organization IT security policy and important the same. 


Local and Domain Security policy 


The local security policy of  a system is a set infomercial about the security of the local computer. In windows 10 secpol. msc is the local security policy editor. The windows 10 Machines that are not a domain. 






If your windows 10  Computer is a member of domain you may be familiar with the Group policy editor. 


Windows Firewall as a security measure


The windows firewall is a Microsoft Windows application coming in your device from the internet and blocks potentially harmful packages. 



There are some steps : 

- Go to the search box. 
- Type firewall and click Enter. 
- selecat Windows Firewall. 
- Turn windows Firewall on or off.

Importance of password 

- Is one of the secure ways of protecting your system. 
- Is used to help identify and distinguish users and access on a computer network. 
- Any one who types the username and password is considered as the owner for the account and PC. 
- Help to restrict and prevent users from accessing confidential data or accessing application. 



Components of a password policy.

- Minimum password length such as at least eight character long.
- Use of both upper  case and lower  case letter.
- Inclusion of one or more numerical digits.
- Special characters such as @,#,$.
